Pedestrian Loses Leg After Hit by Speeding Motorist
In the early morning of August 2016, our 31-year-old client was crossing the street on her way to work. A speeding motorist did not yield the right-of-way and ran over our client. Due to the severity of her injuries, one of our client’s legs was amputated. The motorist was uninsured, but a settlement was reached with the municipality for dangerous condition of public property and with the operators of the bus from which our client had just disembarked when she was hit.
